From San Francisco: 

Travel down the San Mateo Coast along Highway 1 thru Pacifica, Montara, and Half Moon Bay. 

You may choose to stop along the coast for breakfast or visit the Elephant Seals at Ano Nuevo State Park. 

Our driving time down is about 3 hours with a stop of your choice.

From San Jose: 

We travel over the Santa Cruz Mountains and down the Cabrillo Highway along the Monterey Bay.

Along the way you may choose to stop in Santa Cruz for a stroll along the Boardwalk or

try a glass of wine from one of Santa Cruz Counties many wineries. 

Non stop the driving time down is about 90 min.

On the Peninsula your choices for the day are endless:

Maybe your looking for a girlfriend’s getaway? Carmel by the Sea was rated a top ten U.S. destination by Conde Nast Traveler. 

Featuring over 90 shops, art galleries, clothing boutiques, cafe’s and bistros.

Maybe your a golf fanatic? and would like to travel the 17 mile drive stopping for drinks at Spanish Bay or 

having lunch at the Lodge in Pebble Beach?  Even if your not into golf, this drive is a must do. 

Maybe your a history buff? and would enjoy a visit to the Carmel Mission or the Monterey State Historic Park and Adobes.

Maybe your a vinofile? and would like to visit the Taste of Monterey or the wineries of Carmel Valley. 

Maybe your hungry? and would like to try the catch of the day on Cannery Row or Fisherman’s Wharf

a quick detour to Mission San Juan Bautista before reaching San Jose. Perhaps a visit to The Garlic or Artichoke Capitals of the world in Gilroy or Castroville.

Continuing to San Francisco: 

Travel up the Junipero Serra “The World’s Most Beautiful Freeway” thru the coastal mountains past the Crystal Springs Reservoir.
